Our team is looking for a Middle / Senior Golang developer for one of our clients.

Our Clientis one of theTOP-5global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers fromFortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

Project It is described as the “go-to platform for company data within the client.” It’s a feature-rich, fast-performing web application that uses multiple company data microservices to deliver summarized and clean data, aiming to minimize single points of failure. The platform has customized permissions, allowing different users (both inside and outside of the client) to see layouts adjusted to their expertise. It also offers the possibility to export data in various formats like Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF, and supports different screen sizes. The project provides immediate access to reliable financial, investor, operating, and employee data, value creation analyses, and performance benchmarking for a vast number of public and private companies. It curates, standardizes, and cleans data from multiple sources and creates insights using client’s proprietary frameworks and methodologies.

Working time zone: CET. Overlap 4 hours with EST

Our expectations of the candidate:

• Working on backend services primarily written in Golang (4 years +)
• Contributing to various microservices that support different functionalities of the platform, such as data loading, content analysis, search, user personalization, and administration
• Working with AWS infrastructure, including deploying applications as ECS tasks
• Write processing tasks for the ETL module
• Require experience working with Snowflake as a data warehouse

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Implementing and improving backend microservices using Golang
• Integrating backend services through APIs
• Contributing to the development of data loaders in Golang
• Developing and maintaining code following defined coding standards and best practices
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in existing services
• Participating in code reviews
