Job summary

Heritage Christian Academy in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a Middle School Head Volleyball Coach to lead the volleyball program and develop student athletes' skills. The successful candidate will implement practice and game strategies and ensure a positive coaching environment.

Ideal candidates will have previous coaching experience, deep knowledge of volleyball, and strong interpersonal skills to motivate players. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and other members of the coaching staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive volleyball program for the Middle School team.
• Plan and lead daily practices and game-day strategies.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players to help them improve.
• Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games.
• Attend all team meetings, practices, and games.
