Responsibilities

• Support social-emotional wellness and career-connected learning for middle school students
• collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers
• Help students develop problem-solving, coping, interpersonal, and self-regulation skills
• Identify student needs and make referrals to appropriate personnel or programs
• Prepare students for transition to high school and post-secondary activities

Education

Indiana licensing requirements for School Counselor (515 IAC 8-1-4-1) or master's degree in social work with IPLA license (IC 25-23.6-4-1)

Student Services License from IDOE (515 IAC 8-1-48) preferred
