St. Mark Catholic School in Southwest Ranches, Florida has an opening for a qualified 7–8 Grade STREAM Elective Teacher for the upcoming 2026–27 school year. This candidate will guide students in developing higher-order thinking skills through engaging STREAM electives that integrate science, technology, religion, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Courses will explore a range of interdisciplinary topics such as innovation and design, coding, robotics, digital media and production, engineering challenges, collaborative problem-solving, and creative technology applications. The STREAM Elective Teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program that supports student creativity, collaboration, and innovation. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. S alary will vary based on certification and years of service.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Education or other related middle school subject matter.
• Florida Department of Education teaching certificate for middle school.
• Experience in teaching Middle School.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of innovative instructional technologies.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
