School Faculty - Middle - St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School

St. Mark Catholic School in Southwest Ranches, Florida has an opening for a qualified 7th and 8th grade Religion Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This candidate can help students learn, apply higher order thinking skills, and is qualified to teach all levels of Middle School. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school. The Middle School Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BS or BA Degree.
• Catechist Certified.
• Experience in teaching Middle School and/or High School.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of innovative instructional technologies.
• Must have knowledge of the tenets of Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Proficiency with interactive boards, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
