Stride, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Texas Virtual Academy of Hallsville (TVAH). This home-based role requires collaboration with families, adherence to IEP goals, and robust data-driven instruction within a virtual setting.
The candidate will provide inclusive learning experiences online, monitor progress, and communicate with learning coaches/parents. Residency in Texas, and ESL/SpEd credentials preferred, are required where applicable.

Special Education Teacher is the teacher of record for their students and provides instruction, support and guidance and manages the learning process focusing on self-contained and ALT students’ individual needs as defined by each student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). This role is also responsible for progress monitoring on goals and service logs as required in serving special education students and for all compliance documents required in serving self-contained and ALT students.
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
