• Provide basic core program for students assigned to this class in line with state education code.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret student abilities and disabilities for staff and assist students with regular assignments.
• Maintain the classroom environment for organization and presentation.
• Encourage good citizenship.
• Work with individual students on educational experiences to meet goals.
• Assist other professionals with psychological, social, academic, and disciplinary issues.
• Assist in screening, evaluating, and placement decisions for students.
