Qualifications

• Experience with IEP processes and behavior support plans is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participates in IEP conferences including behavior management plans, functional analysis of behavior, placement, and annual reviews.
• Develops strategies for a conducive classroom environment and employs varied instructional techniques.
• Provides appropriate diagnostic testing and monitors student progress regularly.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policies.
• Communicates with parents individually or in small groups.
• Consults with appropriate staff regarding a student's educational program.
