About the Role
Innovation Academy Charter School is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our collaborative middle school student services team for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in an inclusive classroom environment while helping them build academic skills, confidence, and independence. This will serve grades 5-8.
Our Special Education teachers partner closely with general education teachers to adapt instruction, provide targeted small‑group support, and ensure every student has access to rigorous learning opportunities. Situated in Tyngsboro, MA (near the intersection of routes 3 and 495), IACS draws a diverse student body from neighboring districts, including Lowell, Dracut, and Chelmsford, as well as Tyngsboro. Our community represents 19 languages spoken, 38% students of color, 25% of students on special education plans, and a community of students and staff that identify as LGBTQ.

Innovation Academy Charter School is a tuition free, college preparatory, Massachusetts public charter school.
