Job summary

EDU-AIDs in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dedicated Special Education Structured Learning Classroom (SLC) Teacher for our middle school team. The role focuses on individualized instruction and supporting students with significant learning needs in a structured setting.

You will develop IEPs, collaborate with general education staff and parents, monitor progress, and foster a positive learning environment. A Texas teaching certification in Special Education and experience in SLC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience with SLC or similar settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Provide direct instruction in academic and functional skills.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment.
