Union School District R-11 is seeking a paraprofessional to support teachers and students. The candidate must have a Missouri paraprofessional certificate or 60 college hours, with fingerprint clearance and a substitute certificate as applicable.
The role involves assisting certified staff, supervising students, and performing clerical duties while maintaining confidentiality and safety in the school environment. Coaching experience is a plus.

According to Board Policy GDBA: The district will recognize up to ten years of similar, previous experience of an employee when placing that employee on the salary schedule. The highest step a classified staff employee may enter the district is at step 11 of the salary schedule.

Board approved academic calendar + 2 days with applicable health and life insurance. Classified salary schedule to be established by the Board of Education.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Additionally, the employee may occasionally be required to push or lift up to 50 lbs as necessary for the safety and well-being of others. Lastly, this job requires the employee to have the vision ability to read handwritten or typed materials, and meet multiple demands from several people while interacting with other staff and the public.
