Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Licensure Moderate Disabilities (pk-8) or (5-12) OR Severe Disabilities - All, is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's strongly preferred.
• Teaching experience encompassing education and/or human services is required.
• Mentor, Academic Coaching of peers, and/or Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students, communicate with families as needed, and support students in having successful outcomes.
• Provide guidance, support, and role-model appropriate teaching practices for the teaching team.
• Lead and mentor the middle school teaching team and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Coordinate with families and staff to develop and monitor IEP goals and progress.
• Review unit and lesson plans with Principal; set yearly goals and professional development plans.
