Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
• Valid Maine certification/licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Experience providing evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed practices, PBIS, restorative practices, MTSS.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, organizational, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions to students individually and in groups.
• Collect and analyze student data to identify needs and monitor intervention effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, families, and community agencies to develop support plans.
• Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources.
• Support initiatives promoting positive behavior, engagement, and regular attendance.
• Maintain documentation and participate in ongoing professional learning.
