Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support middle school students within a structured Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program. This full-time contract role involves interpreting in DHH classrooms, general education classes, and small groups to meet diverse student needs.

You will collaborate with teachers and a cohesive DHH team, adapting interpreting styles to various contexts and contributing to an accessible, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school setting.
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred.
• Experience with middle school students is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and flexible, student-centered approach.
• Ability to adapt interpreting styles across contexts.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services in classroom and small group settings.
• Support effective communication between students, peers, and teachers.
