The Hammond Academy of Science and Technology is looking for a Middle School Classroom Teacher for grades 6-8 starting in the 2026-27 School Year. The Academy serves approximately 600 students and employs project-based learning integrated with technology.

Candidates must be Indiana-certified or hold certifications eligible for transfer. Starting pay is $49,000, with benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, and professional development assistance.

This is a full-time contract position.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be certified teachers in the State of Indiana or hold appropriate out-of-state certificates which qualify for transfer to Indiana.
• Experience with project-based learning is preferable but not required.
