Job summary

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans and delivering instruction within established curriculum guidelines. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address instructional issues and communicate with parents regarding student progress and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related field is required.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate is required.
• Appropriately certified in core content area.
• SEI Endorsement Required.

Responsibilities

• Administers subject-specific assessments and tests to assess student competency.
• Advises parents on student progress and communicates expectations.
• Advises students to improve performance and health status.
• Assesses student progress and provides feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborates with staff and parents to improve student outcomes.
• Demonstrates pedagogical approaches to engage learners.
• Differentiate classroom work to address individual learning needs.
• Directs student teachers and volunteers as needed.
• Instructs students to improve academics per course of study.
• Manages student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Monitors students in various educational settings for safety.
• Participates in meetings and PLCs to review data and practices.
• Prepares written materials documenting student progress.
• Reports health and safety issues to administration and agencies.
• Responds to inquiries and emergencies as needed.
