The primary teaching responsibilities of a Harding Academy Seventh Grade Science Teacher include delivery of the Harding Academy science curriculum, currently a combination of earth and environmental science. This hire will also be a partner in affirming or redesigning the Seventh Grade Science curriculum. This position also serves as a grade level advisor with all of its duties. Additionally, this position also plans and coordinates the experiential science class trip in the spring, traditionally to Dauphin Island, AL.
This is a full-time position beginning no earlier than August 1, 2025. The position offers applicable full-time benefits which may include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in subject area
Preference: Master’s and minimum three years’ experience in an instructional role; current teacher certification in the State of Tennessee, or transferable; extra curricular participation or coaching experience.
