Job Description

• Demonstrate content knowledge and effective pedagogy by planning and developing student-centered instructional activities that encourage exploration, experimentation, and real-world applications of scientific concepts.

• Differentiate learning activities in alignment with the diverse instructional needs of students and the Georgia Standards of Excellence and Next Generation Science Standards.

• Structure content through the use of inquiry-based learning activities that progress from simple to complex themes while ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment within the science curriculum.

• Design cross-curricular activities that align to our outdoor learning space.

Professional Responsibilities

• Actively engage in faculty meetings, grade-level discussions, school board meetings, and professional development to promote a holistic approach to student growth and academic excellence in science education.

• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues to plan and assess innovative, hands-on science learning activities, ensuring instructional objectives are aligned across grades and subjects while fostering a culture of inquiry and academic achievement.

Educational Qualifications
