Milton Town School District is seeking an energetic, upbeat, innovative Science teacher to join our middle school for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must have middle-level experience, be knowledgeable in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), trauma-informed practices, and restorative circles, and demonstrate innovative instructional practices. This is a one-year position.

Position Details

Qualifications

• Vermont Teaching License or equivalent endorsements (ML5-9 or 7-12, or eligible for provisional license and willing to obtain ML endorsement)
• Working knowledge of NGSS, trauma-informed practices, Marzano’s instructional framework, restorative practices, and tier-one circles
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
