About You

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching middle school Spanish, designing Spanish curriculum, and have successful experience working with middle school aged children and their families. They should be adaptable, collaborative, proactive, personable and warm.

WORK SCHEDULE

Working hours are generally 7:40 AM to 3:45 PM; additional hours may be required in the evenings. Teachers are expected to attend faculty meetings on Thursdays from 3:45 PM until 5:00 PM.

Job Description

  • Teach Spanish to middle school students
  • Work collaboratively with Romance Language department members and Chair, and other teaching teams on initiatives around pedagogy and curriculum
  • Additional responsibilities, as needed

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range: Prorated salary based on an annual salary range of $60,000-$90,000; commensurate with experience. * Base faculty salaries do not reflect additional compensation based on degree level and stipends.
  • Generous paid time off (e.g., sick and personal days, holidays, school breaks).
  • Complimentary lunch
