Job summary

Real Life Christian Academy in Florida is expanding and seeks a middle school Physical Education teacher for the 2026–27 school year. RLCA aims to develop students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically within a Christ-centered environment.

As a teacher, you will design and oversee PE instruction, differentiate activities to meet diverse needs, and model a lifestyle consistent with the school's mission.

Qualifications

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• The successful individual will be a strong, collaborative leader with a solid work ethic and possess a passion for teaching children.
• Other requirements may include a teaching certificate and a CPR certification.

Position Overview

Real Life Christian Academy is expanding and seeking a middle school Physical Education teacher for the 2026–27 school year. RLCA teachers are responsible for helping students learn the attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians. Teachers design and oversee classroom instruction to meet the requirements of school standards. They use a variety of activities and structures to differentiate instruction and foster student development. In addition, RLCA encourages a growing Christian walk, a genuine love for students, and a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude. Teachers must maintain a lifestyle consistent with the mission of the church and academy as they are acting as Christian role models for students.

Background Screening Requirement

All candidates considered for employment with Real Life Christian Academy are required to complete a fingerprint-based background screening in accordance with Florida Department of Education requirements. This process is administered through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required screenings and clearances.
