Prep Academy Tutors Hamilton is seeking an in-person middle school math tutor with teaching experience. You will deliver instruction aligned to the state curriculum, assess student progress, and assign supplemental work to reinforce concepts.

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent teaching credential.
• State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof, or pursuing certificate.
• 2+ years classroom teaching experience in private or charter school.
• Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at a U.S. university or college.
• Master’s/PhD student with teaching assistant experience at a U.S. university or college.

Responsibilities

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid state teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have 2 or more years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
