Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors of North & West Cook County is seeking energetic and enthusiastic tutors to provide personalized tutoring programs for students in grades K-12. Tutors will support learning based on state curriculum and cater to a range of learning styles, ensuring individual student needs are met.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid teaching certificate or equivalent.
• Current student teacher or pursuing a teaching certificate.
• 2+ years experience as a classroom teacher in private or charter school.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited university.
• Master's/PhD student with teaching assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on state curriculum expertise.

Job Summary

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have 2 or more years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
