Job Opening: Middle School Math Teacher (2025-2026 School Year)

Salary Range: $37,000-$45,000/year

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for health and dental coverage, 403(b) plan, HSA, and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms.

Purpose of Position: Under the supervision of the principal, the classroom teacher is responsible for teaching all required content areas to students in the assigned grade level. This involves planning and conducting an educational program to foster students’ intellectual and spiritual growth through developmentally appropriate instruction. Additionally, the teacher helps students develop an appreciation for learning within an environment that promotes the values of our Classical Catholic school.

General Responsibilities: The employee must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the mission and purpose of the Church, supporting its faith, morals, and laws. Active participation as a Roman Catholic is required.

Representative Responsibilities:

• Teach required subject matter and curriculum to all students in your class roster.
• Prepare curriculum and resources for approval by the principal.
• Conduct parent and student conferences as scheduled.
• Assess and document student progress in the reporting system.
• Collaborate with staff to improve student performance and behavior.
• Participate in school program development, evaluation, and revision.
• Manage instructional materials assigned to you.
• Ensure student welfare by being present with children at all times when responsible for them.
• Create a safe and engaging classroom environment.
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, and professional development workshops as required.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures for discipline.
• Follow policies outlined in the Faculty and Parent Handbook.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, discipline, and a positive attitude.
• Contribute to making the school an exemplary environment of Christian virtue and Catholic tradition.
