Middle School Math Teacher- East Campus (2025-26 school year)

Join our team at Vanguard Classical School as a Middle School Math Teacher- East Campus (2025-26 school year).

Located in Colorado, Vanguard Classical School is a free public charter school dedicated to providing an exceptional education based on the Core Knowledge Curriculum and classical teaching methods. We focus on academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship, fostering values of honor, achievement, kindness, and world citizenship.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating a nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implementing the Core Knowledge Curriculum with classical teaching methods.
• Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans for diverse learners.
• Assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing feedback to students and parents.
• Fostering a respectful and responsible classroom culture aligned with our values.
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
• Participating in professional development to improve teaching skills.

We offer a 4-day in-school week (Tuesday through Friday), professional development on Mondays, and opportunities for building community through extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Colorado Teacher License or ability to obtain one.

• Experience with classical education and the Core Knowledge Sequence is preferred.
