Description

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Dual Language Immersion School, a Catholic dual language immersion elementary school, is seeking a dedicated and innovative math and science teacher for sixth through eighth grade for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate has experience with planning, implementing, and assessing student-centered instruction based on standards that foster students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition to teaching, the candidate should be willing to collaborate with colleagues to align instruction, analyze data, and create integrated cross-curricular learning experiences for students. Beyond math and science instruction, this is an eighth-grade homeroom position. The successful candidate should be willing to lead the eighth grade class in high school application activities, eighth grade traditions, and promotion activities. The successful candidate will help drive the mission of the school to “educate the whole child through academic excellence and challenge students to be life-long learners and faith filled Catholics who are dedicated to service.”

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Current CA teaching credential or progress thereof
• Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
