Job summary

Wheaton Bible Church in West Chicago seeks a full-time Middle School Life Director (Female) to co-lead grades 6–8. You will oversee the Sunday Morning Bible literacy environment, plan retreats and missions trips, and partner with the Male Director on vision and discipleship pathways.

You will recruit and mentor volunteer leaders, engage students during the week, and collaborate with parents to strengthen family faith. This role is part of the Shepherding staff.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Student Ministry
• Degree in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, or related field
• Spanish fluency is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Sunday Morning Bible literacy program and collaborate on Midweek gatherings.
• Lead curriculum development for the Sunday Morning program with the Male Director.
• Recruit, train, and care for volunteer leaders, especially female leaders.
• Engage students relationally throughout the week with pastoral care and encouragement.
• Partner with parents in discipleship and equip mothers in spiritual influence at home.
• Contribute to broader Student and Family Ministry planning and cross‑ministry initiatives.
• Serve as part of the church staff in development meetings and church projects.
