The role focuses on supporting students with learning disabilities and ADHD using multi-sensory remediation, classroom collaboration, and individualized progress reporting. Strong communication with families and professionals is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support in the classroom, 1:1 or small groups to students with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or ADHD.
• Converse in multi-sensory reading remediation approaches.
• Implement extended time and accommodations for Learning Center students.
• Communicate with parents, professionals, administration and school psychologist.
• Conference with teachers regarding Learning Center students’ progress.
• Attend grade-wide weekly team meetings about students.
• Participate in Board of Education phone conferences and parent conferences.
• Prepare student progress reports.
