• Guides decision making in academics and personal/social development.
• Helps students evaluate interests, aptitudes, abilities, and educational planning.
• Consults with outside resources to maximize services.
• Consults with parents regarding their children and family counseling on school-related issues.
• Provides services to students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community.
• Assists students in developing self-confidence and interpersonal skills.
• Assists students in analyzing learning styles and improving study skills.
• Schedules and participates in placement meetings.
• Confers with teachers and parents as needed.
