QUALIFICATIONS:

• Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the school's mission and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Organize and attend all practices and contests
• Ability to motivate students
• Ability to individualize instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of rules and strategies
• Experience as a coach preferred
• Experience as a player preferred
• Enthusiasm for the sport
• Coaching certifications preferred (VPA / NFHS)
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators, and public
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening/weekends
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that are sport or coaching-related
