Job summary

Springfield School District Athletics - Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont, is seeking a Head Coach for Middle School Boys Basketball. The role includes organizing practices and contests, guiding student-athletes, and coordinating with the Varsity Head Coach.

The position is seasonal with a stipend and requires strong leadership and commitment to student achievement. Ideal candidates will have coaching certifications preferred (NFHS), the ability to work with a diverse school

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize and attend all practices and contests.
• Work directly with the Varsity Head Coach and athletic staff.
• Motivate students and tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Apply knowledge of basketball rules and strategies during coaching.
• Maintain ethical standards and flexibility with schedules (afternoons/evenings/weekends).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening/weekends
