Job summary

The Saint Constantine School in Houston, TX is seeking a passionate Middle School Girls Competitive Volleyball Coach to lead our growing program, mentor student-athletes, and instill Christ-centered values in practice and competition.

You will plan practices (4–6pm M/W/T), prepare for games (weekday evenings), and collaborate with the Athletic Director on team development, safety, and sportsmanship while representing the school with integrity.

Qualifications

• Previous volleyball coaching or competitive playing experience preferred.
• Experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to support and uphold the mission and Christian values of The Saint Constantine School.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks and any school-required training prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach proper techniques, strategy, and sportsmanship.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and Christ-centered team culture.
• Mentor student-athletes in character, leadership, and personal responsibility.
• Prepare the team for competitions through organized practices and game planning.
• Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and the Athletic Director.
• Ensure a safe practice and competition environment.
• Maintain equipment and assist with uniform accountability.
• Attend coaches' meetings and school athletic events as requested.
• Represent The Saint Constantine School with professionalism and integrity.
