Job summary

Qualifications

• Coaching basketball, preferably with youth
• Strong communication with players, parents and school staff
• Ability to design practices and teach fundamental basketball skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practice plans focusing on skill development and teamwork
• Conduct regular practices and training sessions in a safe environment
• Teach dribbling, shooting, passing and defensive fundamentals
• Organize games, tournaments and community events
• Foster a positive team culture emphasizing hard work and sportsmanship
• Communicate team expectations and schedules with players and parents
• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff
