Middle School Girls Basketball - Assistant Coach

• Ability to organize and supervise a sports program.

• Serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate behavior for student athletes.

Reports to: Athletic director, with evaluation in conjunction with high school principals.

Job goals involve instructing athletes in skills, strategy, and physical training, while promoting character development, self-discipline, and confidence.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Understanding athletic policies and regulations.
• Managing staff, training, and morale.
• Assisting with scheduling, transportation, and event preparation.
• Mentoring students, monitoring grades and conduct, and managing injuries and emergencies.
• Participating in budgeting and equipment management.
• Promoting the sport within and outside the school community.
