Job summary

Taleo in Wichita seeks an ESOL Newcomer-Middle teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the direction of the principal, you will provide tailored instruction of foundational English to a diverse, multi-leveled group of students with limited schooling and low English proficiency.

You will design standards-aligned lessons, assess progress, collaborate with staff, and support ELLs through coaching and co-teaching.

Qualifications

• Must hold KS Secondary teaching certificate.
• Experience with ESOL students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organization.
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide ESOL instruction tailored for Newcomer students.
• Collaborate with staff to meet educational needs.
• Create and grade tests to assess progress.
• Develop lesson plans aligned to state standards and ESOL strategies.
• Deliver instruction using current best practices in language development.
