We are seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and passionate Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position includes serving as the 7th grade homeroom teacher and teaching ELA to students in grades 6–8. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, student-centered learning, and the mission of Catholic education.

• Teach ELA to middle school students (grades 6–8), focusing on literature, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Serve as the homeroom teacher for 7th grade, fostering a welcoming and supportive classroom community.
• Integrate Catholic values into the curriculum and model Christian behavior.
• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with diocesan curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide regular feedback.
• Participate in school-wide events, liturgies, and professional development.
• Collaborate with fellow middle school teachers and staff to support student success and school initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching California teaching credential or working toward a credential.
• Experience teaching middle school students, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based school setting.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing (preferred).
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering academic excellence and a love for reading and writing in students.
