Job summary
Lawton C Johnson Summit Middle School is seeking a Drama Teacher for grades 6–8, starting October 2026. The full-time, tenure-track position includes cycle classes in Drama and oversight of Fall Drama and Spring Musical productions.
An appropriate New Jersey teaching certification is required, and experience with directing school drama programs is preferred. Experienced candidates who can lead a dynamic middle school drama program and collaborate with colleagues will be highly regarded for this
Qualifications

- Direct Fall Drama production and Spring Musical.
- NJ Certification is required.
