Job summary

KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Middle School Computer Science Teacher for the 26.27 School Year. This full-time, 10-month role is part of the Teacher department and supports grades across content areas with a focus on rigorous, standards-aligned CS instruction.

Start date is immediate, with collaborative planning and data-informed teaching across teams. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in education or related field and Missouri teaching certification, plus at least two years of classroom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related content area is required.
• Missouri Teacher Certification is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction that engages all students in grade-level standards.
• Internalize curriculum to ensure alignment to standards, pacing, and rigorous outcomes.
• Design and execute tasks that require students to analyze, justify, and apply learning.
• Provide scaffolds that increase access without lowering rigor and use data to inform instruction.
