KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Middle School Teacher for ELA or Science to join immediately.

This full-time, 10-month role involves planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction, using data to support student growth, and collaborating with a team of teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure every student succeeds. You will work with diverse learners, implement rigorous tasks, monitor progress with frequent checks, and contribute to a culture of high expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related content area.
• Missouri Teacher Certification required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in improving outcomes for historically underserved students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction using grade-level standards and rigorous tasks daily.
• Internalize curriculum to align with standards, pacing, and outcomes.
• Design tasks that require analysis, justification, and application.
• Provide scaffolds to increase access while maintaining rigor.
• Engage in data-driven instruction and frequent checks for understanding.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to support students.
