TrulyHired is seeking a counselor to provide support for middle-school students with social and emotional needs at Carroll School in Lincoln, Massachusetts. The individual will engage with students, parents, and staff to enhance students' emotional well-being and promote positive skills through counseling and group work.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, with experience in school counseling preferred. This role emphasizes collaboration and inclusion within a compassionate educational environment.
Position is part of the Carroll Counseling Department, reporting to the Director of Counseling. Primary responsibilities include the provision of services to students, parents, and teachers regarding social, emotional, psychosocial health, and family‑related concerns. The role supports students in attaining a positive sense of identity and self‑worth, and equips them with academic and relational success skills.
Located in Waltham, Lincoln, and Wayland, Massachusetts, Carroll School is an independent day school that serves students with language‑based learning differences, such as dyslexia. The school empowers children to become academically skilled, self‑advocate learners prepared to enter other academic settings. This temporary position is located on the Lincoln campus.
