Job summary

Starting salary is $48,500 with a 10-month contract, and a focus on high-quality instruction and student growth. The teacher will plan and implement instructional programs, supervise support staff, and participate in professional development and collaborations aligned to the school’s mission.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in content area preferred.
• NYS Teaching Certification preferred.
• Experience in classroom teaching preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and human relations skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Instruction: plan and deliver lessons that guide student learning.
• Classroom management: maintain an organized, respectful environment.
• Assessment and intervention: monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Mentor assigned teachers and provide feedback.
• Maintain accurate grade and attendance records and communicate with families.
