Job summary

Breakthrough Central Texas seeks a Middle School Student Advising & Program Coordinator to lead essential academic advising and non‑academic support for rising 6th through 9th graders across Austin, Del Valle, and Manor. You will foster a college‑going culture, coordinate campus programs, and ensure students access vital resources for postsecondary success.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality academic advising and mentoring to a caseload of 45-60 students.
• Track advising notes and data to inform program design and action.
• Build relationships with students' families, educators, and school staff.
• Develop campus-based programs and summer programming for 6th–9th graders in Austin, Del Valle, and Manor.
• Supervise and support AmeriCorps member to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with partners to connect students with non‑academic resources.
