Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of athletic program regulations.
• Ability to manage interactions and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of the game, sport, or activity.
• Work with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills.
• Guide and encourage students to benefit from participation.
• Maintain compliance with VHSL rules, regulations, and policies.
• Promote a favorable image of the district and foster community partnerships.
• Coordinate with the athletic director to assess program needs.
• Ensure proper use and care of school property and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team, staff, parents, administration, community and media.
• Handle financial items for the athletic program, including equipment inventory and fee collection.
• Participate in athletic department fund-raisers.
• Complete required VHSL forms and maintain records.
