Job summary

Thomas MacLaren School in Colorado Springs is seeking a Middle School Boys' Volleyball Assistant Coach for the Spring season. The role coordinates and implements the school's athletic program under the Head Coach, aligning with CHSAA rules and local league guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have coaching experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and be prepared to support student-athletes in practices and competitions.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of CHSAA rules and conference procedures.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the school athletic program under the Head Coach.
• Ensure compliance with CHSAA and league rules.
• Attend annual coaching orientation and trainings.
• Maintain equipment inventory and manage uniforms.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and complete required trainings.
• Communicate with parents and staff about athletic matters.
• Support student-athlete development and conduct speeches at honors events.
