Job summary

Holy Family Catholic School seeks a Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The Middle School Coach develops and administers the basketball program in line with diocesan policy, works with the athletic director and principal, and helps student athletes compete interscholastically.

Responsibilities include scheduling practices, verifying eligibility, maintaining safety, coordinating with volunteers, and communicating needs to the athletic director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification and first aid training required.
• Submit EIM Application within first week; complete training within 60 days; maintain compliance throughout employment.
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of adolescent physical development and sport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts practice sessions and games according to diocesan policy and league regulations.
• Schedules practices and games in consultation with the athletic director.
• Verifies student eligibility through required forms and releases.
• Ensures all volunteers are approved by the school.
• Monitors safety and reports injuries to parents and school officials.
• Maintains professional conduct, demeanor and work habits.
• Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the school, students and staff.
• Communicates with athletic director regarding field and gym needs.
