Job summary

Milton Academy is seeking a Middle School Basketball Coach for the Winter season. Practices run daily from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with games on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The season begins November 30 and ends March 3. This is a seasonal, part-time role with no weekend commitments. You will organize practices, travel with the team to away games, communicate with the Middle School Athletic Director, and provide strategy and training to help players develop.

Location: RSG, CSG, and ACC, Milton Academy Campus, Milton, MA

Hours: Monday-Friday from 2:30-3:30 p.m., with game days happening

on Wednesday and Friday afternoons (2:30-5:30 p.m.)

FLSA: Exempt

Classification: Staff - Seasonal Position

Stipend Range: $2500 - $3100 per season, based on experience and qualifications

Summary of Position:

The Middle School at Milton Academy is seeking a Basketball coach for the Winter season. Daily practices run from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. and game days are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays. The season begins on November 30 and concludes on March 3. There are no weekend commitments.

This is a seasonal position for the Winter 26-27 school year. May be eligible for renewal depending on school needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Organizing practices to help improve fundamental skills and motivating student-athletes.

• Traveling to and from home/away games with the team.

Physical Abilities

Required:

• Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours each day in conjunction with OSHA requirements.

• Must be able to move around the Milton Academy campus without restriction.

• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
