Job summary

Council Rock School District’s Newtown Middle School is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Autistic Support. The position is permanent (anticipated) with a full schedule of 7 hours per day, five days per week, 182 days per year.

Starting August 31, 2026, applicants should be prepared to support data collection and academic plans for students in a middle school setting. Qualified candidates must meet PA Special Education Regulations; two years of post-secondary study or an associate’s degree

Qualifications

• Experience as an Instructional Assistant in a middle school setting preferred.
• Ability to collect data, work with a team of educators, and carry out academic support plans.
• Must meet PA Special Education Regulations Chapter 14; see PA Code for details.

• Assist Autistic Support in a middle school environment.
