Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and at least 21 years old.
• First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
• Knowledge of district, WIAA rules and eligibility requirements.
• Ability to coach and mentor middle school athletes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student athletes to promote learning through athletic participation.
• Plan and implement sport-specific programs and practices for middle school teams.
• Organize after-school practice sessions and maintain records of activities.
• Coordinate equipment, budgeting, and safety with athletic staff.
• Explain eligibility rules to students and parents; enforce policies fairly.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure timely return and safety checks.
• Provide written recommendations to athletic directors to improve programs.
