About the Role:

As a Middle School Associate Teacher at Sterling Montessori, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative teaching team, supporting students through one of the most dynamic stages of their development. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with adolescents, assisting in lesson delivery, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture. From guiding small group instruction to helping plan hands-on learning experiences and field trips, you'll have a front-row seat to student growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. It's a fast-paced, rewarding position ideal for someone dependable, flexible, and passionate about making a difference.

As a Middle School Associate Teacher, you will:

• Work closely with lead teachers and play a vital role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
• Foster a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Observe and document student progress and contribute to planning individualized supports
• Help with grading, feedback, and classroom management
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and team members
• Participate in field trips, conferences, and experiential learning activities
• Embrace professional growth through meetings and ongoing training

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Committed to Montessori principles or eager to learn
• Flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented
• A strong communicator and team player
• Comfortable using tech tools like Google Drive, email, and Microsoft Office
• Passionate about supporting the development of middle school students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
• Montessori experience or interest (preferred)
