Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Tennessee administrator license issued by the Tennessee Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal’s designee in the absence from the school campus.
• Review data to monitor instructional needs and support curriculum.
• Assist in overall administration of the school as needed.
• Supervise student events and after‑school activities.
• Maintain faculty, student, and parent communication.
• Help maintain discipline and handle referrals.
• Participate in student support team meetings as designee.
• Plan in‑service activities and staff meeting agendas.
• Coordinate School Improvement Planning with staff.
• Supervise staff and evaluate performance as assigned.
• Assist curriculum development and state standards implementation.
• Organize staff development opportunities.
• Requisition supplies, conduct inventories, verify receipts.
• Monitor building and campus maintenance issues.
• Assist in budget and financial operations.
• Assist with emergency preparedness plans and safety drills.
• Support mandated testing and system tests.
• Supervise attendance reporting and monitoring.
• Prepare reports and record‑keeping materials.
• Prepare class/activity schedules; extracurricular schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Principal/Director.

Education

Valid Tennessee teacher’s license with appropriate endorsement.
